As professional director, Hege Maria Eriksson is in charge of defining Norsk Form’s strategy and professional profile and of monitoring and commenting on Norwegian architectural policies. In addition, she carries overall project responsibility for the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2013.

Ms Eriksson trained as an architect at the Oslo School of Architecture. She used to be the professional director of the National Association of Norwegian Architects (NAL); set up and ran her own company as part of LY arkitekter; was on the editorial staff of Norway’s foremost publication on architecture, Arkitektur N (previously known as Byggekunst); acted as consultant for architecture and national heritage buildings for the Arts Council Norway and was chairman of the board for Galleri ROM.

Ms Eriksson brings to her current position her comprehensive experience as designing architect, project manager and adviser to a series of cultural institutions. She has also worked with exhibitions, scenography and art projects. She is a published author – having, among other things, published a book on museum architecture – and she has written a weekly column in the newspaper Dagbladet.
